Vinyasa Teaching Style: Katherine will lead you through breath work, a gentle warm up, sun salutations, standing sequences, balancing poses, backbends, twists, and guided meditation for savasana. It is a well organized class with attention to injury prevention, reducing stress and grounding the mind.

Face Yoga Teaching Style: To begin class Katherine guides a meditation and breath practice to center and ground the mind. Then gently moves into back, shoulder and neck stretches to help relax and decrease tension in the body. The Face Yoga practice is designed for morning or evening purposes, as well as, personal goals.

Targeted Mobility Style: Katherine was trained by Lucas Rockwood. This training emphasises the use of breath, complete relaxation and gravity. With this practice Katherine focuses on hip, hamstring and spine mobility.

2017 Review:

As a beginner at yoga, going to new classes is always daunting. As soon as I walked into the studio for yoga with Katherine I knew my fears were unnecessary. Katherine is such a kind, gentle soul that's its impossible to be uncomfortable with her as your instructor. She starts every class asking if there is any tension in your body that you especially want to work on or avoid, and tailors all her classes to the answers her students give her. She knows how each pose helps the body and mind, which I think is very cool. She's great at talking you through each stretch and can do variations on poses if something isn't working for you. The whole thing is a wonderful experience, you should definitely check it out!

2016 Review:

I love the soft-spoken, gentle guidance that Katherine offers. She leads her classes with love and patience for those of us who aren't familiar with all the yoga poses.

The best part comes at the close of the session. She goes around to each of us with a gentle touch and a dab of DoTerra fragrance that stays with us for hours!
